I went in for my routine mammogram Aug. 7, and was delighted at the efficiency of the place. Check-in was at 9:15 am, since it was early, I got called within 5 minutes. The mammogram tech was pleasant & did her job quickly and I was free to go by 9:45. Had that been it, they would have had 5 stars. But...they think they saw something and need to image again. But...it's now Sept. 3...and they are booked until Nov. 17th. 4 weeks just for a callback, and 2 months to get more imaging is ridiculous. Remember when we didn't choose national health because we would wait forever? We got the worst of both worlds. Wish me luck🤞

Highly recommend !!! especially for wheelchair users! The location is easy to access, and has a covered drop off area and adjacent parking garage. The mammogram equipment is extremely accessible and easily lowers to your wheelchair height (note, if your chair has arm rests you may need to remove them or transfer an office chair which they will provide for you). Although it took 6 months to get an appointment, it was well worth the wait. Additionally, when I made the appointment, they did not require any special advanced permission from the technician because I use a wheelchair or require I book a longer appointment time (which has been my experience with other imaging clinics). I was treated with respect and dignity (and just like anyone else / a non disabled person) by the customer service person who made my appointment, as well as the check-in staff and the radiologist.

Wonderful experience upon both visits here as a patient needing a further mammograms and a biopsy. From my check in, procedures and to check out - I was treated kindly and everyone was helpful and friendly. The procedures were thoroughly explained and I felt informed and comfortable. I really appreciated the constant communication, instructions and after care. Shout out to Merry for her amazing care and professionalism. Dr Hallam was wonderful as well. Considering how many patients I saw arriving and departing, I never felt rushed. Thank you everyone at Swedish Breast Imaging Center!

I just went to this location on 10/21/24 for a needle biopsy. Receptionist were all very kind, friendly and caring. I was super nervous about my procedure but the staff made sure I was comfortable. The sign in lobby talks about being strong like a lotus flower, I really appreciate reading that before my procedure. Overall, my experience was great.

First of all, appointments are 2 months out and it's complicated to get through. Then front desk is horrible: The first time I was there to schedule an appointment, I stood at the counter and waited 45 minutes for the front desk lady to figure out how to put the order into the computer to schedule me. My Dr needed urgent diagnostic imaging and after 45 minutes of her figuring out the computer I was told the next appointment is 2 months out. I gave front desk 2 insurance cards, primary and secondary and somehow they only got my secondary into the computer. They ended up sending me an estimate to pay before my appointment. When I called the number given on the estimate I was told Swedish has its own system and the rep over the phone can't see into my account or to fix the insurance they had erroneously entered. On the day of my appointment, I was caught in traffic and arrived at front desk 12 minutes late. The front desk girl didn't know what to do, and she waited around, working super slow, and finally went to ask her coworker what the cut off time is. Coworker told her 15 min. Then she said OK, then I'll just check her in. She did something on her computer, and then eventually turned and told me they won't see me because it is now 22 minutes later and they have a 15 minute cut off time. I had to reschedule. I told her I arrived earlier but she was taking her time doing other things for a good 10 minutes. I can hear her co-worker telling her too check the pt in first next time. But in doesn't help in my case. The system they have is horribly disjointed and the staff seem untrained, leading to pt frustrations and stress of having to reschedule and dealing with insurances. I would consider going to Overlake.

I just had a mammogram and ultrasound done because I have been experiencing pain. After the tests, I was expecting a doctor, as that is what I was told would happen. Instead, I got the nurse who performed my mammogram. she said: "the doctor wasn't concerned so she sent me in to tell you- We found one lump but it's probably benign. Come back for a check up on it in 6 months". I asked about my breast pain, to which she just grabbed a laminated paper from the wall that they have on breast pain, and tried to hand it to me! I told her I already read that and asked about my scans. I got nothing but an impatient answer so I shut down, thanked her, and left. It wasn't until I got home and read my own results that I saw they actually found MANY masses! Some they labeled as cysts, which the nurse could have told me about, to possibly explain my pain. She did not. All of the other masses had no conclusive answer, but were labeled "probably benign". There was also an issue of density. I wasn't given any of this actual information from my scans. I was given a nurse who gave me two sentences of incomplete b.s., tried to hand me a paper instead of communicating what she should, and sent me on my way. I am appalled that this was my experience. On my bill it says the doctors fee alone is $496. For that amount, she should have bothered to see me herself.

The clinicians are fine if you can hold your nose at the incredibly poor, unhelpful, dismissive employees at the front desk. I had to finally give up in this place and chose a much better experience.

I suffer from anxiety and postponed my first mammogram as long as my doctor would let me. At 45 I finally went and everyone was so calm, gentle, soothing, patient and kind. Almost had a panic attack at one point but made it through. Hope my subsequent experiences will be the same!
